FaxFonTastic is a virtual telecommunication service. This means that it is not physical product, it cannot be touched, seen or felt. FaxFonTastic is targeted for customers who do not currently have a telephone or facsimile, or individuals without their own telephone service in both urban and rural areas.

There are 3 services on offer for the FaxFonTastic campaign:

Telephone  

Owners of this service get to own a virtual mailbox that can only receive audio messages (i.e. voice). Monthly rental is F$2.25vat inclusive per month.

Facsimile 

Owners of this service get to own a virtual mailbox that can only receive text messages (i.e. faxes). Monthly rental is $F3.58vat inclusive per month.

Phone & Fax 

Owners of this service get to own a virtual mailbox that can receive both audio and text messages. Monthly rental is $F5.11vat inclusive per month.

For any of the services stated above, each customer is given a telephone of fax number, which is given in confidence and is only known to the owner, and other parties the owner may give it to. With this number, family and colleagues can leave messages, which customers can retrieve at a time convenient to them.

Conditions

Certain conditions are applicable to these services which are outlined below :

• Depositing messages is 15cents a minute flat around Fiji.
• Retrievals from anywhere in Fiji is free, except if you are retrieving from a mobile phone, payphone or from overseas, normal charges will apply.
• Customers who sign on for any of these services will have to sign on for a minimum of 6 months. There is no refund.
• Messages can also be retrieved from overseas.
