| Mr. Tom Ricketts - Chairman |
| Mr. Ricketts was appointed Chairman of the TFL Board of Directors in August 2009. He also currently serves as Board Member of Fiji National Provident Fund, Amalgamated Telecom Holdings and Home Finance Corporation Limited.
Experience: Mr. Ricketts was a banker by profession and has worked for Bank of New South Wales (1964 – 79), Westpac Bank (1987-1998) and Colonial Bank (1998-2006) in Suva. He has also worked for Mobil Oil (1979-1987).
Mr. Ricketts was Minister of Industry, Tourism, Trade and Communications in 2008 and was previously appointed a Senator in 2006. He has served and is still a member of statutory Boards and Government Organizations. He is an Attorney of J.P.Bayley Trust, Chairman of Trustees of Suva Relief Fund (Pearce Home) and Trustee of the Anglican Church.

Mr. Aisake Taito - Director
Mr. Taito was appointed a Director of the TFL Board in September 2009. Mr. Taito has served on numerous boards including, The Fiji Electricity Authority, Reserve Bank of Fiji, FINTEL, CDMA, FNPF, Tourism Fiji and Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority. He is currently Board Chairman of the Unit Trust of Fiji.
Experience:
Mr Aisake Taito is the General Manager and Chief Executive of Fiji National Provident Fund. He holds a Bachelors and Masters degree from Fiji and Australia respectively. Mr. Taito was seconded as an Advisor, to the World Bank in Washington DC, in 2000 for a period of two years. Mr. Taito has wide experience from the Ministry of Finance where he had served as a Deputy Secretary from 2003 as well as acted as Permanent Secretary with the Ministry of Finance on a number of occasions up until 2006.

| Mr. Tarte was appointed a Director of the TFL Board in September 2009. He also currently serves as the Chairman of the Suva Private Hospital Board of Directors and Leadership Fiji. He also serves as a Director of Namale Resorts.
Experience: Mr. Tarte is a former Industrial Commissioner for the Sugar Industry Tribunal. He also previously served as the Chairman of the Capital Markets Development Authority and the Fiji Media Council. He was a Director of Colonial Insurance and Tabua Investments, the developers of Denarau.
Mr. Tarte is a former Fiji Consul to the Federal Republic of Germany, has been the author of six books on Fiji and the Pacific and is a Trustee of the Anglican Diocese of Polynesia. |

Mr. Abraham Simpson - Director
Director: Mr. Simpson was appointed a Director of the TFL Board of Directors in February 2007. He was previously a member of both the Charter Administration Committee for setting up the Water Authority of Fiji and the Fiji National Provident Fund Subcommittee for Investment. Experience: Mr. Simpson is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology in United Kingdom. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and has completed Masters of Business Administration units which include Economics, Human Resources, Accounting and Finance, Management , Marketing and Strategic Planning and Implementation programs to name a few. Mr. Simpson had spent 22 years working for Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) where he worked up the ranks to the Executive position of General Manager Change Management in 2003 and later became General Manager Planning and Business Development in January 2004. Mr. Simpson was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Land and Transport Authority in November 2004. He currently works as a consultant with AM Consultants, a company he set-up in 2007. Mr. Simpson has vast experience in electricity power systems control, electrical power system planning and IT. He has also wide experience in Training having lectured at the Fiji Institute of Technology and as a Senior Training Officer Electrical at FEA. Mr. Samuela Vadei Company Secretary, TFL Mr. Samuela
Vadei is a solicitor by profession. He has spent over 15 years in the
legal aspects of the telecommunications industry. He began his career
at Telecom Fiji in 1993 as the Company’s Legal Counsel. Mr. Vadei was
appointed Telecom Fiji’s Legal Counsel and Company Secretary in 2000.
Mr. Vadei is currently TFL’s General Manager Corporate Services and was
recently reappointed to the position in October 2009. He is responsible
for all the legal aspects of the Company as well as managing TFL’s
properties and fleet.
Mr. Vadei was also appointed
Commissioner of Oaths of the High Court of Fiji in 1993, a position
which he still holds. He has served as an elected member of the Fiji
Law Society Committee in 1998 and 1999. Mr. Vadei has also served on
the Board of Directors for Fiji Rugby Management Limited in 1998.
Mr. Vadei has a Law degree from Bond University in Queensland,
Australia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland
University of Technology, Brisbane and was admitted as a solicitor of
the Queensland Supreme Court in 1992. |
